The Butler County Board of Supervisors today received information from county engineer John Riherd on recent illegal dumping of tires.
Someone is alleged to have dumped up to 100 tires in a ditch in the New Hartford area.
Butler County cleaned up the tires, and an investigation is underway to try and find out who did the illegal dumping.
The county will try to recoup the costs of cleaning up the tires that were dumped.
