Voter turnout numbers for the election this week in Iowa

Votes from this week’s general election will become official when canvasses will be held by each county board of supervisors.

In the broadcast area, the county with the highest voter turnout rate was Butler at 78-point-89 percent, the lowest was in Wright at 72-point-69 percent.

The statewide voter turnout rate was 74-point-1 percent, or 1,672,255 Iowans cast ballots Tuesday.
