Wednesday afternoon the Des Moines Police Department arrested 40-year-old Robert Tyler Woodard of Des Moines on 2 Franklin County warrants.
One warrant was for a controlled substance violation and for failing to affix a drug tax stamp, the other warrant was for possession of drug paraphernalia, providing false identification information, and for interference with official acts.
Des Moines Police also charged him with a work release violation and for domestic abuse assault, 3rd or subsequent offense.
Woodard is being held at the Polk County Jail.
