Monday, the Franklin County Board of Supervisors will consider for approval, a resolution ordering a recount of votes in the precincts in Franklin County that are part of the AGWSR School District. A proposed $14,450,000 bond referendum received 59.89% approval in the school district during the election. The bond fell about seven yes votes shy of the 60% needed for school bond referendums to pass.
In other business, the Franklin County Board of Supervisors will consider the hiring of a full-time recorder’s assistant and setting the wage for the position.
