Friday a vote recount was held for the District 3 Seat on the Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors.
Republican challenger Carl Ginapp defeated incumbent Democrat Lori Meacham Ginapp by 3 votes, 3,108 to 3,105.
The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors will meet in a special session Tuesday to canvass the recount vote. The District 3 seat on the Cerro Gordo supervisors covers the northeast portion of the county including parts of Mason City.
