The fall harvest is almost completely done in Iowa

Rain along with snow showers in northern Iowa allowed Iowa’s farmers an average of 4-point-3 days suitable for fieldwork during the week ending Sunday.

The latest Iowa Crop Report from the USDA shows that field activities slowed down in the past week with reports of fall tillage, and fertilizer and manure applications wrapping up.

Corn harvested for grain is virtually complete in Iowa.
