This week Chip Schultz, representing Northland Securities, discussed financing options with the Allison City Council for the new used fire truck the city plans on purchasing.
The Allison council looked at funding scenarios that ranged from 8-15 years and made the decision to move forward with the 10-year funding scenario that would come to a total of $286,744.
In other business, the Allison City Council discussed the future of the former medical center building along Locust Street, and decided that city hall will move to this building.
More details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Allison City Hall is currently located at 410 North Main Street.
