This holiday season, Healthy Harvest of North Iowa invites shoppers to take a different approach, one that celebrates the incredible bounty of the region by supporting local food producers. Instead of only browsing boutiques and shops, North Iowans can explore farm stores, meat lockers, local food grocery stores, and more.
HHNI challenges residents to create their own local food trail this Small Business Saturday. The organization suggests imagining a day filled with stops at a farm store for fresh eggs, picking up locally cured meats, and enjoying a cozy lunch at a farm-to-table restaurant, all while supporting the local community.
Healthy Harvest of North Iowa is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that connects and educates in support of the local food system.
