Officials with NIACC have announced a significant milestone as the first student has successfully completed their Federal Aviation Administration certification test at the newly established FAA Testing Center on campus.
This marks the launch of a valuable new service for students and aviation professionals in the North Iowa region.
On November 1st, a 20-year-old student passed their private pilot license exam with flying colors, marking a milestone for both the individual and the college.
NIACC’s Testing Center is now certified to administer a variety of FAA exams, including those for pilot and drone licensing.
This development eliminates the need for local students and professionals to travel long distances to complete these essential certifications.
