Last night the Grundy Center City Council approved on the first reading an ordinance amendment concerning park regulations, regarding the use of nicotine, privately owned animals, and driving golf carts in public parks.
The third reading of the ordinance amendment will be held at the next business meeting on December 16th.
In other business, the Grundy Center council approved to amend the current fiscal year budget, and tabled a proposed resolution to approve a three year agreement for the Sports Complex Maintenance contract as recommended by the Park Board Commissioners.
