The Allison Fire Department and Allison EMS were called out yesterday about 3:20pm on the report of a house fire at 21026 Jay Avenue west of the city. No injuries reported.
The fire started in an attached garage and had spread into the house by the time the first fire truck had arrived. The house is considered to be a total loss.
The cause is under investigation. The fire departments from Greene and Bristow assisted at the scene, along with Greene EMS, Butler County EMS, Butler County Emergency Management, and the Butler County Sheriff’s Department.
Firefighters were on the scene for six hours.
