The West Fork boys wrestling team went 1-2 in Top of Iowa Conference quad at home on Tuesday to begin the new season. The Warhawks won 21-12 over Rockford and lost 39-18 to #20(1A) West Hancock and lost 45-12 to Saint Ansgar.
The Warhawks were led by Jasper Jones who went 2-0 at 157 with a win by a 9-8 decision over Alex Baltes of Rockford and a win by Fall in 3:19 over Jackson Redig of West Hancock. Jensen Robbins at 215 went 1-1 with a win by Fall in 0:20 over Wyatt Finch of West Hancock and lost via Fall to Quentin Peters of Rockford. Other points in matches for the Warhawks were gained by wins via forfeit.
West Fork will return to the mat to take part in Chris Davis Invite at Wapsie Valley on Saturday.
