NBC Assistant Coach Travis Holm on the response of the team following the loss to Osage to finish the night strong.

“The kids have been working hard in practice and they’re eager to get out there tonight and show what they’ve been working on. They went out there and showed us what they can do, it was nice getting those two wins tonight,” says Holm. “We talked about going out, wrestling their style and having some fun with it and trying to score points in bunches, that’s what they did. They responded from maybe a let down in that first dual. It was nice to see that and we’re proud of them for that.”

Maddox Morrison led the way going 3-0 with two falls and a technical fall. Jaxson Miller, Weston Miller, Jack Bartels and Evan McCormick each went 2-1.

North Butler-Clarksville (2-1) will return to the mat for the Bob Murphy Invite hosted by West Delaware on Saturday.
