The administrations of the North Central Conference have announced the addition of Eagle Grove, Garner Hayfield Ventura and Forest City to the league.
The schools, which are currently in the Top of Iowa Conference, will become members at the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Additionally, Charles City will join the conference for the 2026-2027 school year, a year earlier than initially planned.
The conference will include 12 schools and will utilize two divisions based on enrollment. Division structures will be announced in the future. A provision will exist to restructure divisions based on enrollment every four years.
