This week the Rockwell City Council received information on a recent Rockwell Economic Development Corporation meeting, who offered property for a residential development in town.
Rockwell Council Member Randy Meyer noted there is nothing in town for build ready lots and felt the tax return to the city makes this feasible to consider.
Rockwell Mayor Larry Wentz stated that the city can give the REDC local option community betterment funds to use towards developments such as this.
The Rockwell City Council then approved to give 30-thousand dollars from the local option funds for the REDC to use for residential development.
