Today the Franklin County Board of Supervisors met with county auditor Katy Flint who requested an increase in precinct election official and support staff wages.
The Franklin supervisors approved to establish the Franklin County Precinct Election Official and Support Staff Compensation Policy, which will officially begin January 1st.
Depending on the position, the salary range will be between 14 and 16 dollars an hour.
In other business, the Franklin County Board of Supervisors discussed how the compensation for elected officials for fiscal year 2026 will be determined, but no action was taken by the board today.
