Monday night the AGWSR School Board approved the grade configuration changes as presented for the 2025-26 school year.
All K-4 students will attend AGWSR Elementary in Ackley.
All 5-8 students will attend AGWSR Middle School in Wellsburg.
All 9-12 students will attend AGWSR High School in Ackley.
There will be no change to the Cougar’s Den or Little Cougar Playhouse.
In other business, the AGWSR School Board agreed to move forward with adding the next bond issue vote for the November 2025 election. AGWSR Superintendent Erik Smith will be working with the Iowa Construction Advocate Team, who is an affiliate program with the Iowa Association of School Boards, to assist and provide support.
