Competing in its first home duals of the season, the AP/GC boys wrestling team went 1-1 in a triangular Thursday. They fell to #3 (1A) Don Bosco 61-18 and defeated East Marshall/GMG 54-18.
Against East Marshall/GMG, the Falcons got four pins, including by Hunter McBride at 215, Jesse Brouwer at 285, Parker Mulder at 144 and Emerick Nolte at 150. At 126, Josh Elsberry won a 9-6 decision. Carter Liston won a 7-6 decision at 132.
Against the Dons, the only three wins were due to Don Bosco open weights.
AP/GC will return to action by hosting Saturday’s Keith Vry Invitational.
