Last night the Dumont City Council agreed with a plan to resurface Main Street through the city with Butler County, as Main Street is also county road T-16.
The work will take place next year.
The Dumont council approved for the city to have its first credit card policy, and decided to drop golf cart registrations for 2025.
However, dog licenses will still be required in the new year.
