Franklin Supervisors continue to discuss compensation for the elected officials

Today the Franklin County Board of Supervisors met with county recorder Toni Wilkinson, who informed the board that in her opinion, there should be a separation of the human resource director from the auditor’s office.

Franklin supervisors board chairman Chris Vanness encouraged the other two supervisors to talk to each party involved and make their own determination.  This will come back on a future agenda.

In other business, the Franklin County Board of Supervisors continued discussion regarding how they will determine the compensation for elected officials in fiscal year 2026.

Each supervisor will reach out to a certain list of counties to get information regarding job duties of each office along with information about stipends and more.  This will continue to be on future board agendas.
