Local girls wrestling teams will take part in Monday’s Michelle Jensen Memorial Invitational at Humboldt.
Hampton-Dumont-CAL will compete in their second tournament of the season, having placed eighth at a tournament in Emmetsburg before Thanksgiving. The Bulldogs are being led by Maren Subbert, who’s 8-1 at 190. Juliette Koch at 135, Megan Severs at 140, and Elsie Kuper at 170 are among the Bulldog wrestlers who are over .500.
In their last action, Iowa Falls-Alden placed 11th at last week’s Lady Eagle Invitational at Eagle Grove. At 120, Ivy Sanders leads in wins at 10-6. Brooklyn Gehling at 130 and Madison Fisher at 190 are also above .500.
