The Sheffield City Council last week continued to discuss planning for a new fire station.
Currently, the fire department building team is not ready to meet with the engineers, and two members of the Sheffield City Council will meet with the fire department building team before February’s city council meeting and to prepare an update for that time.
In other business, the Sheffield City Council discussed how to handle vacant structures.
Council member Ryan Kruger asked to have the International Property Maintenance Code 2015 edition looked into and brought back to the February or March meeting to be looked at further.
