Today around 4am, the Clear Lake Police Department responded to a residential burglary alarm in the 100 block of 5th Avenue North.
Officers located 29-year-old Gabriel Craighton of Klemme inside the residence. He is alleged to have forced his way into the residence.
Craighton was arrested and charged with 3rd degree burglary, a class “D” felony, and for 3rd degree criminal mischief, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Craighton was later released from custody.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
