Several area boys wrestlers earned Top 3 spots on the podium at 17th Annual Jones Brothers Invitational hosted by Iowa Falls-Alden on Saturday to conclude the 2024 half of their seasons.
In the team race, West Marshall was the champion with 251 points. Iowa Falls-Alden placed third with 172 points, AP-GC finished fifth, North Butler-Clarksville was seventh and BCLUW-South Hardin placed ninth.
Iowa Falls-Alden had five runner-ups, including Zane Gillespie at 106, Kolbe Hansen at 120, Sam Robinson at 132, Kyler Patton at 150 and Drake Sanders at 165. Brooks Hickman at 215 and Trayvahn Williams at 285 both placed third respectively.
AP-GC had two champions: Carter Liston at 132 and Jesse Brouwer at 215. They also had two runner-ups, including Matthew Luiken at 138 and Maison Copp at 190.
North Butler-Clarksville had two Top 3 wrestlers including Weston Miller in second at 126 and Maddox Morrison placing third at 132.
BCLUW-South Hardin had three wrestlers finish in third place, including Garett Bruner at 120, Parker Pagel at 138 and Ryan Busch at 175.
