Today the Franklin County Board of Supervisors approved separating Human Resources from the Auditor’s Office and placing it under the supervisors. The auditor and human resource director will work together for the transition.
In other business, the Franklin County Board of Supervisors approved the 2025 lease with the Franklin County Food Pantry, approved a contract for pre-employment physicals with Franklin General Hospital, and set the 2025 mileage reimbursement rate at the federal rate of 70-cents per mile.
The Franklin supervisors will hold a special meeting Thursday beginning at 8:30am at the courthouse in Hampton.
