Saturday around 4:30pm the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department received the report of a body floating in Clear Lake along North Shore Drive/East Lake Street near the aerator.
A drone was used to check the open water and this report was confirmed. Fire crews from Clear Lake and Ventura then recovered the body of 59-year-old Bradley Church of Joice.
This incident remains under investigation by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department.
No foul play is expected.
