As of Tuesday, just over 20 percent of Iowa was drought free, according to the latest U-S Drought Monitor Report, about the same as the week before.
22-point-51 percent of the state was listed as being abnormally dry, while 56 percent was listed as being in a moderate drought.
1-point-3 percent of the state is listed as being in a severe drought, in portions of Sioux, Plymouth and Woodbury Counties.
Most of the broadcast area remains in a moderate drought.
