The #18 (2A) Hampton-Dumont-CAL boys wrestling team will continue building an intense strength of schedule when it joins #14 (2A) Anamosa and East Buchanan at a dual tournament at #4 (2A) Independence Friday.
At 4-3 in duals, the Bulldogs have already competed against four teams currently in the IWCOA rankings.
Independence has seven ranked wrestlers as of the latest IAwrestle individual rankings. Anamosa has four ranked wrestlers, including Hudson Scranton, who’s #1 at 150 in 2A. East Buchanan has one ranked wrestler, 165-#3 (1A) Clay Wilgenbusch.
It’ll be a round robin tournament. The Bulldogs will take on East Buchanan in the first round, followed by Independence and Anamosa. Action will begin at 1:00 p.m.
