The AGWSR boys wrestling team will compete for the second time this week when they join East Marshall at a North Iowa Cedar League triangular at Wapsie Valley Thursday.
The Cougars are coming off a dominant performance at Tuesday’s triangular at North Tama, where they beat the hosts 48-30 and Oelwein 59-18. Against North Tama, the Cougars got pins by Kealain Urban at 106, Brady Abbas at 120 and Jariyah Bowles at 144. Kael Dodd at 165 and Clayton VanLoh at 190 won by fall against Oelwein.
It’ll be the first action of January for both East Marshall and Wapsie Valley, both having last competed in December.
The Cougars will wrestle East Marshall in the second dual, followed by Wapsie Valley in the finale. The second dual of the night is estimated to start at 7:00 p.m.
