North Butler-Clarksville Boys Wrestling Places Six in Top Four and West Fork with One Medalist at Forest City Saturday

The North Butler-Clarksville boys wrestling team placed fifth and West Fork had one medalist as part of Forest City Invite on Saturday.

North Butler-Clarksville had six wrestlers place in the top four. At 138, Jaxon Miller was the runner-up with a win by technical fall and decision, before falling by decision in the first place bout to Jaxson Lundgren of North Fayette Valley. Three NBC wrestlers finished in third place, including Carl Shew at 120 with three falls and a win by Fall over Kade Meyer of North Fayette Valley to claim third, Maddox Morrison at 132 with three falls and a win by Fall over Blake Loof of Roland-Story for third place and McCabe Gansen at 215 with two falls and a win by decision over Roman Stotts of Roland-Story to take home third place. Two wrestlers ended the day in fourth, including Weston Miller at 126 with two falls and Jack Bartels at 144 with a fall and technical fall.

West Fork’s Jasper Jones placed third at 150 with two decisions and a win by decision over Issac Hall of Roland-Story in the third place match.

North Butler-Clarksville will be at Saint Ansgar for a Top Iowa Conference quad on Tuesday. West Fork will take part in a Top of Iowa Conference triangular against Newman Catholic and North Union on Thursday on 104.9 KLMJ.
