Monday about 8:35am the Clarion Fire Department was called out on the report of a home on fire at 614 6th Avenue Northeast. No injuries reported.
When firefighters arrived, the northeast portion of the single-story home was fully engulfed. A couple of dogs were in the home at the time of the fire and were rescued.
The home is considered to be a total loss. Firefighters were on the scene for 4 hours. The cause is under investigation.
Then the fire reignited after 2:30pm Monday as blown in insulation caught on fire, with firefighters being on the scene for another hour.
This is the 4th house fire in Clarion since January 1st.
