The #4(2A) Clarion-Goldfield-Dows boys wrestling team extended their undefeated start to 2025 to 8-0 in dual action with a 3-0 outing at St.Edmond quad on Tuesday. The Cowboys won 42-36 over #2(1A) Don Bosco, 68-11 over Forest City and 78-6 over the host Gaels.
Against Don Bosco, the Cowboys got pins by Caleb Seaba at 157 and Adrian Phetxoumphone at 132. The Cowboys got wins by decision by Colin Sesker at 150 (6-2) and Cole Wibholm at 106 (6-2). The Cowboys also won four weights by forfeit.
Against Forest City, the Cowboys got pins Colin Sesker at 144, Jaxen Engstrom at 157, Ryland Morgan at 175, Charlie Campbell at 190, Paxton Redenius at 113 and Ryan Hartwig at 138. Two Cowboys had technical falls including Caleb Seaba at 165 and Adrian Phetxoumphone at 132. The Cowboys also won a match by major decision and three by forfeit.
Against St.Edmond, the Cowboys got pins by Adrian Phetxoumphone at 132 and JT Kelso at 285. The Gaels scored on a win by Fall at 138. All other matches were open weight wins by forfeit for the Cowboys.
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows (14-6) will be at Doc Carr Duals hosted by New Hampton on Saturday.
