The Greene City Council this week approved on the first reading an ordinance amendment concerning the rates for the collection of solid waste.
In other business, the Greene council approved a Professional Service Agreement with the SEH firm concerning the city’s Water Main Project. The planning for the project began in the fall of 2022.
The Greene City Council also approved wage/salary increases to the city employees as presented for the next fiscal year budget.
A resolution to adopt the wages/salaries will be acted on by the city council in June.
