Tuesday evening the Eldora City Council set February 11th at 6pm for a public hearing on the plans, specifications, form of contract, and opinion of costs for the Eldora Bike Trail project.
The Eldora council approved a purchase order for gear for the fire department.
The Eldora City Council authorized the mayor to sign the REAP Development Grant Agreement for the Iowa River’s Edge Trail project for surfacing to Gifford and for a bridge replacement project.
And the city council passed an ordinance amendment concerning “public peace”, which will enable enforcement for noise complaints and set quiet hours for residents to adhere to since the code was outdated and did not have parameters for the police department to enforce.
