C-G-D Boys Wrestling Went 4-0, AP/GC 0-4 at Doc Carr Duals on Saturday

The #4 (2A) Clarion-Goldfield-Dows boys wrestling team extended their undefeated dual streak in new year to 12-0 with a 4-0 outing and AP/GC went 0-4 in competition at Doc Carr Duals hosted by New Hampton on Saturday. 

The Cowboys won 63-18 over AP-GC, won 66-15 over Waterloo West, won 48-28 over Denver and won 57-23 over the host New Hampton/Turkey Valley. Five Cowboys went 4-0 including Cole Wibholm at 106 with three falls and a win by forfeit, Linden Phetxoumphone at 120 with four falls, Adrian Phetxoumphone between between 132 and 138 with three falls and a technical fall, Ryland Morgan between 165 and 175 with three falls and a technical fall, Charlie Campbell between 175 and 190 with three falls and a win by forfeit and JT Kelso at 285 with two falls, a decision and win by forfeit.

AP/GC lost to 50-30 to Waterloo West, lost 48-30 to the host New Hampton/Turkey Valley, lost 65-16 to Denver and lost to the Cowboys. AP-GC was led by Jesse Brouwer who went 4-0 at 215 with three falls and a win by forfeit and Carter Liston who went 3-1 at 126 with three falls. 

Clarion-Goldfield-Dows (18-6) will be at South Hamilton triangular on Monday. AP-GC (8-12) will host an NICL triangular on Thursday.
