Des Moines based Landus Cooperative is laying off about 10 percent of the company’s work force.
Company officials are calling the move a strategic decision. The co-op employs about 600 people across more than 50 locations in Minnesota and Iowa.
Landus Cooperative locations in the broadcast area include a seasonal operation in Aredale, along with facilities in Bradford, Buckeye, Dike, Greene, Latimer, New Hartford, Packard and Wellsburg.
