A special meeting was held last week by the Sheffield City Council who discussed city employee pay raises for 2026.
The Sheffield council voted to give Police Chief Andrew O’Connor a $2 per hour raise effective on the next payroll, while his fiscal year 2026 overtime will be capped at 5-thousand dollars.
In addition, on July 1st, all city employees will receive a raise of 2-point-5 percent.
