The Eldora City Council held a special meeting Tuesday night and approved a city-wide garbage contract with Knight Sanitation of Eldora.
The city will be taking over the garbage service with Knight Sanitation beginning July 1st.
Eldora residents will then pay for the service on their utility bills.
In other business, the Eldora City Council approved a lease agreement with B.A.C.E., Incorporated for the property located at 15-01 21st Street.
B.A.C.E will pay the city $5 a year to lease the property located on the north side of Eldora.
