Tuesday the Butler County Board of Supervisors approved a proclamation declaring February as National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.
The Butler supervisors received an update concerning an ongoing effort for the county to purchase land where a 911 communications tower is located south of Allison. The county has been leasing the property. The Compensation Commission in Eminent Domain in Butler County plans on meeting about the situation on February 27th at 1:30pm.
A Compensation Commission in Eminent Domain is a group of people who assess the fair market value of private property that is condemned for public use.
