Tuesday at 1:16pm the Mason City Fire Department was called out on the report of a structure fire at 415 North Pennsylvania Avenue. No injuries reported.
The fire was on the exterior of the building when the department arrived, with the fire moving into the structure through windows that had broken.
The building is a large house with 4 apartments and all occupants were accounted for and safe.
The structure sustained significant damage.
The fire remains under investigation.
