The Eldora-New Providence and Hubbard-Radcliffe Community School District Boards of Directors, partnered together as South Hardin Schools, have named Chris Fenster as the next district superintendent.
Fenster currently serves as superintendent of the Southwest Valley Schools, leads curriculum and programming efforts to research and adopt a curriculum that aligns K-5 and 6-12 instruction district-wide, while also increasing dual credit Advanced Placement, career, and technical education, and apprenticeships.
He also led two successful capital bond referendums to improve facilities to meet the 21st century learning needs while increasing operational sharing positions to both provide system infrastructure support and increase revenue for the budget.
Fenster will officially take over from current South Hardin Superintendent Adam Zellmer on July 1st.
