The IGHSAU has announced regional postseason basketball brackets.
In 1A Region 5, Clarksville will host Starmont for a first round game, with the winner advancing to take on Dunkerton.
In 2A Region 4, Dike-New Hartford will host South Hamilton for a first round game, with the winner advancing to play #2-seed Pocahontas Area. In the same half of the bracket, AGWSR will host a quarterfinal against South Hardin.
Grundy Center is in 2A Region 5, and will host a quarterfinal against Alburnett, with the winner likely earning a trip to #5 (2A) North Mahaska for the semifinal.
In 2A Region 6, Belmond-Klemme will host a first round game against Central Springs. The winner will advance to a quarterfinal at #15 (2A) West Fork.
In 2A Region 8, Aplington-Parkersburg will host North Butler for a quarterfinal, with the winner advancing to a likely semifinal at #9 (2A) Denver.
#11 (3A) Hampton-Dumont-CAL is the #2-seed in 3A Region 6, and will host a first round game against Clear Lake. In the same half of the bracket, Iowa Falls-Alden will host Osage in the first round.
The postseason will begin Thursday, February 13.
