Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds today announced that 18 communities have been awarded a total of more than 8-million dollars in grants to advance water quality projects.
The 2024 program received 32 applicants requesting more than 15-million dollars in water quality grants. Priorities for grant awards include disadvantaged communities and projects that will significantly improve water quality in their watershed.
The City of Geneva will receive a 25-thousand dollar grant to be put towards a drinking water project that has a total project cost of 30-thousand dollars.
