Warhawks Head Coach Rodney Huber on not overlooking the Huskies and playing sharp.

“Nashua is a little bit of a scary one because of their size. They gave us some issues the first time we played them. They run a 1-3-1, kind of a unique zone. We started to attack it, I thought, better in the second half. Then we attacked the 1-3-1 against Newman pretty well. Hopefully we can score enough there and widen the distance against them,” says Huber. They’ve played some teams pretty tough. They gave Saint Ansgar a scare, I think, a couple of games ago. We just got to continue to take it one game at a time, make sure we’re focused on our opponent and we’re sharp every night. Obviously playing at Nashua will be a little bit of a challenge as well. Definitely one that we can’t let get us.”

The Nashua-Plainfield girls (10-9, 5-7 TIC-East) have won two games in a row including a 65-23 non-conference win over Waterloo Christian on Monday.
