AGWSR Wrestling goes 0-3 at Greene County Tuesday

The AGWSR boys wrestling team went 0-3 at a quad at Greene County Tuesday. They fell to the hosts 42-30, Webster City 52-24 and Woodward-Granger 49-21.

Against Greene County, Jariyah Bowles won a 1:53 fall at 138, and the rest of the team points were by forfeit.

In the dual with Webster City, the Cougars got pins by Sam Mausser at 113, Brady Abbas at 120 and Gage Van Loh at 285.

Against Woodward-Granger, the Cougars got pins by Kealain Urban at 106 and Abbas at 120. Bowles won a 15-10 decision at 138.

The Cougars have ended the regular season, and will next compete at Saturday’s Class 1A State Qualifying Meet at South Hamilton.
