Tuesday night the Butler County Sheriff’s Department arrested 66-year-old Craig Thorne of Parkersburg who was wanted on a warrant for a probation violation.
Thorne was originally charged with a controlled substance violation, a class “B” felony, in December of 2023.
However, he entered a guilty plea to a controlled substance violation, as a class “C” felony, and received a sentence of up to 10-years in prison that was suspended, and placed on 3-years of probation in October of last year.
Thorne is being held at the Butler County Jail. A hearing to revoke his probation is set for March 17th at 10:30am.
