A written plea of not guilty was filed this week by 27-year-old Colt Allan Richardson in Wright County District Court.
The former Eagle Grove Police Officer is charged with dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to a minor, and with sexual exploitation of a minor.
He was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday.
Richardson also waived his right to a speedy trial, with his jury trial set to begin May 22nd at 8:30am.
If convicted on the sexual exploitation of a minor charge, he could be sentenced for up to 5-years in prison.
