This week the Wright County Board of Supervisors approved wage increases for three positions.
This is Wright County Supervisor Dean Kluss.
“Wage increase for employees in the treasurer’s, sheriff and the recorder’s office. During budget discussions we had three different departments that requested increases in wages and for the treasurer’s department it is thousand dollars increase from a wage of forty nine thousand three hundred and thirteen dollars and thirty nine cents. For the recorder’s office a fifteen hundred dollar increase from an existing wage of fifty thousand dollars and for the sheriff’s department it is a $2,600 increase from a current wage of $51,347.56.”
The chief clerk in the county recorder’s office will receive a raise, along with the clerk one position in the treasurer’s office, and for the office manager of the sheriff’s department.
