The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says that it is never too early to start planning for spring. One way is to plant a tree in your yard, local park, or school.
Alliant Energy customers can purchase up to two trees per planting address at $25 per tree.
Trees will be available for pick up on May 6th in Iowa Falls at the Calkins Nature Center from 4-6pm.
