Last week the Latimer City Council approved using up to 10-thousand dollars from the Park Reserve fund to take down the worst of about 20 dead trees between the two parks.
The Latimer council approved a contract with NIACOG for grant writing assistance.
And the city council set the public hearing for the proposed property tax levy for fiscal year 2026 for March 26th at 6:30pm at Latimer City Hall.
